We describe experience at the level of capability rather than naming clients or projects. Specific references can be discussed directly, subject to client approval.

Healthcare

Established experience

Technology strategy, digital systems, integration and automation in environments where clinical work comes first.

Healthcare technology is constrained in ways that are easy to underestimate from outside it: clinical workflows that cannot be interrupted, records held across systems that were never designed to interoperate, governance requirements that shape what is possible, and staff whose time is the scarcest resource in the building.

Our work here concentrates on making existing environments function better — integrating systems that hold parts of the same picture, removing manual steps from clinical and administrative workflows, and building the specific tools that general-purpose platforms leave out. Where data is involved, the value is usually in making it consistent and trustworthy before anything else is attempted with it.

Public Safety & Investigations

Established experience

Technical education, digital evidence workflows, telecommunications knowledge and tools that support informed investigative work.

Investigative work increasingly depends on technical evidence — device data, network and telecommunications records, digital traces — interpreted correctly and handled in a way that holds up to scrutiny. The technology moves faster than the training and tooling around it.

We work on both sides of that gap: the knowledge side, through specialized technical education and reference material for practitioners, and the systems side, through workflow and analysis tools that make technical material easier to work with accurately. Getting the interpretation right matters more here than in almost any other setting, so our emphasis is on clarity, traceability and appropriate human judgement.

Telecommunications

Established experience

Mobile and communications technologies, technical data interpretation, and specialized systems expertise.

Communications networks generate technical data that is precise, voluminous, and routinely misread. Understanding what a record actually establishes — and what it does not — requires knowing how the underlying systems behave, not just how to query a table.

We bring that systems-level understanding to interpretation, tooling and education: explaining mobile and network technologies to the people who have to reason about them, and building the analysis and reference tools that support careful work. This expertise also underpins much of what we do in public safety and investigations.

Defence & Security

Emerging area

An emerging area of applied research and development involving sensing, software, technical learning and data interpretation.

This is a developing part of our portfolio rather than an established practice. Our interest sits at the research and development end: sensing and measurement, the software and data interpretation that sit behind them, and the technical education needed to use any of it well.

We are explicit about the stage this work is at. There are no operational deployments, procurement contracts or approved products behind this section, and we do not hold security clearances or regulatory approvals unless and until that is separately established and verified.

The sectors above are where our experience has concentrated, not the boundary of where the method works. What transfers is the combination: technical depth, a genuine effort to understand the operating environment before prescribing anything, and the ability to build and implement rather than only advise.

That combination tends to be useful in any setting where the constraints are real, the consequences of getting it wrong are material, and off-the-shelf answers have already been tried. If that describes your situation, the sector label matters less than the problem.
